REAP Conference Center
Our Mossyrock Landing conference center in Western Washington - between Seattle and Portland - is available for your event. We host both residential and non-residential events. [INQUIRIES]
Mossyrock Landing
Mossyrock Landing is 176 acres of fields and forests in the Pacific Northwest, located between Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens. We are approximately two hours from Seattle and one hour from Portland, Oregon. Before the arrival of European settlers, this land was populated by the Cowlitz Tribe, the indigenous people of this area.
Mossyrock Landing [ML] is a center for visionary reality, dedicated to creating new realities for people, organizations, communities and nations so that we live in health and harmony with one another and the earth. It is a place for education, healing, creativity, transformation, research and experimentation with new ways of seeing and knowing, being and doing—for individuals, groups, nations and their leaders. Corporate, religious, social change and political leaders, spiritual teachers, scientists and artists, health and wellness professionals, community activists, consultants, families and teams have all come to Mossyrock Landing for their own and others’ healing and positive change. The Landing is the teaching base of REAP Unlimited in Washington state. At a time of global, national and local transformation, new leaders are emerging from the background. Current leaders feel an urgent need to accelerate their visionary leadership skills. There is an art and science to living and leading from vision in the midst of accelerated change and complexity. Mossyrock Landing is a place for building knowledge, healing, learning, creating and transforming. Facilities and Grounds
The property has views of Lake Riffe and Mount Rainier. The terrain is varied, containing cliffside perspectives on the northern end, with pastureland and tree-topped knolls alternating throughout one third of the property. Two thirds of the land is mostly forest, with trails made by the elk. The forest is special in terms of sacred spaces and wild edible and medicinal plants.
Near the Field of Mind, where the main center is to be built there is a sacred circle in the Field of Heart, where we dedicated the land on November 11, 1994. The soils are cinnabar, a form of volcanic ash, mostly suitable for hay, berries, grapes and herbs. In the future, you may enjoy the organic food products that are grown here. Fruit trees are prevalent, as are alder, cedar, fir, hemlock and maple trees. The Studio The Studio became available in 1995 for seminars, workshops and meetings. It is a metal building that was originally a barn. We renovated it for small workshops (25-50 people), and for creative work with dance, music and video. In the Studio, we can also produce audio visual products. Showers and restroom facilities are available for groups that lease the Studio, which includes a full kitchen. Groups sometimes stay together overnight in the Studio, rather than leasing guest rooms in the Guest Houses. Also, when MRL provides food for a group, meals are o served in the Studio, building a strong sense of community. The Studio has been soundproofed so that we do not disturb the neighbors when we play the music loudly. This only works, however, if the door is closed. Sitting Elk House Guest Houses for groups leasing these. What Else You May Need to Know All buildings at REAP at Mossyrock Landing are smoke-free and drug free. A smoking area is available in front of The Studio. There is no smoking on the rest of the land unless this has been arranged in advance with the Keeper of the Land, Dr. Darya Funches, or one of the other people who speak for the land. Please use receptacles for garbage, trash and cigarette butts. DO NOT DROP REFUSE in the woods or on the land. People in the area are generally quite friendly and curious about what we do here. Town closes early, so if you need anything, beat sundown in the summertime. Reaching Us
The property is 180 acres of land in Mossyrock, Washington, approximately midway between Seattle, Washington and Portland Oregon. It is approximately two hours from the Seattle Airport and approximately one hour from the Portland Airport. The frequency of flights to either area may be the best deciding factor for you.

It is shorter in mileage, yet it may take more or less time, depending on how fast/slow you drive on winding roads. Get a map and look for this route, which includes Highway 512 and Route 7. I don’t recommend it for a first time trip if time is an issue. Hints To make first time arrivals easier year-round, daylight driving is best.
